Welcome to Spanish Club!


The goal of the Stony Brook Spanish Club is to promote cultural and linguistic awareness of the Spanish language and culture to all students of all grades.

Our meetings are in Señorita Morris' room, B107, after school on the following Thursday dates for the 2014-2015 school year.  Our year finishes with our annual trip to a Mexican restaurant!  If you have any questions, please contact Señorita Morris at kmorris@westfordk12.us.

September 25th - ¡Introducciones y guacamole!  Be sure to pick up your food permission slip in order to participate.  Permission slips available outside of Señorita Morris' room.

October 16th - Planning our "Gloves Go Far" baseball glove drive for children in Nicaragua.

October 30th - Packing up gloves / Día de los Muertos activity

November 7th - Friday Night Visit to the Museum of Science! We will be viewing the "Mystery of the Maya" exhibit, and then attending the OMNI theatre presentation about the Galápagos Islands.  Bus departs at 2:15pm, and returns approximately 8:30pm.  Cost and more information to follow!

May 14th - 6:30 PM -  La Carreta Restaurant, 6:30 pm.  Permission slips given out at April meeting.  Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the event.  This event is only open to students who have attended a minimum of five meetings during the year.
